As diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) measures and programs become standard practice in the workplace, there is an employee population that continues to fall through the cracks: neurodivergent people. We tend to overlook neurodiversity, particularly in women, because it isn’t always visible or well-represented at work. Many who are neurodiverse hide their differences and try to work around them so they can appear like everyone else. But more and more companies are looking to neuroinclusion as part of their DEI strategy to combat the talent shortage and create more equitable workplaces so women—and everyone—can thrive.
